Hey folks, just wanted to drop you a quick line about this coming weekend.

This coming Saturday, May 3rd, is the 4rth annual Comic and Pop Culture Expo put on by Zeus comics in Dallas. It takes place conveniently on Free Comic Book Day and is being held at Craddock Park in Dallas. The guest list is truly amazing. Robert Kirkman, Jason Pearson, Greg Pak, David Mack and a metric ton of local and non local badass artists and writers. The con starts at 10am, runs until 6pm, and all throughout there will be free comics, raffles, panels and other such coolness in abundance.

The night before the expo there is also an associated live art show being held at St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin at 9pm. That show will include the likes of James O'barr, Kristian Donaldson, Dave Crosland and hopefully yours truly along with the Space-Gun kru (providing we can scam ourselves some board space).

In addition, myself and a gaggle of other local artists have contributed to a book put together by our very own Dallas writer David hopkins. The book is called "Mine All Mine" and is a series of one page stories written by David about stealing and theft. Included in the book are the talents of a cadre of artists including:

The book will be available at the show Saturday and will afterwards be available online (I'll get that info to you when I have it).
